Register & Grocery Assistant

Earth Markets is a leading fresh produce chain in South East Qld, with over 25 years of experience providing SEQ locals with an extensive range of high-quality fresh fruit, vegetables & groceries sourced from local farmers & growers. 

We seek passionate Customer Service and Grocery Assistants who are great communicators and love working as a team, with opportunities available at our three Gold Coast locations - Robina, Burleigh Heads and Elanora. 

About the role: 

• Providing friendly customer service at the registers, using our Point of Sale system.
   
• Giving high-level customer service by greeting our customers with a smile and helping them with their selections when out on the shop floor. 
   
• Contribute to our excellent store presentation by maintaining fully stocked displays and general cleaning.
   
• Assistance with temperature and date checks as part of our food safety & hygiene practices and as per health and safety regulations.
   
• Basic food handling including bagging items for bulk sale.
   
• Filling, rotating, facing and merchandising grocery items on our shelves, fridges and off-location displays.
   
• Utilising our Point of Sale system and back office computers to print pricing tickets. 
   
• Assisting with the pack up of the store, which includes refrigerating stock, & general cleaning and tidying.
