Hobart Private Hospital is seeking part time and casual Assistants in Nursing to join our team.
As an Assistant in Nursing your responsibilities will include:
- Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
- Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
- Assess patients using therapeutic skills
- Provide for the safety of all patients allocated to care
Essential Criteria:
- Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services, Personal Care Assistant or nursing student working towards RN or EEN qualifications
- Excellent ability to plan and prioritize work
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
