Assistant In Nursing (Chinese-Speaking)

About the Opportunity

We constantly look for Chinese-speaking Register Nurse (RN) and Assistant in Nursing (AIN) to join our professional team based in Sunnybank Hills, QLD. The role opens to casual and permanent part-time options.

The AIN plays a key role in providing high-quality, safe, and timely contemporary clinical support and care to residents to improve age-related deterioration in a resident's social, mental, and physical capacities to function independently, and live with dignity, self-determination, and comfort as their age, and support their daily living activities based on their unique needs.

About the Job 

As an AIN in the aged care sector, you will be mainly responsible for Resident Dignity and Choice, Ongoing Assessment and Planning, Personal and Clinical Care, Support for Daily Living, Medication Management as well as WHS. You will ensure that all residents receive effective and resident-focused care and service delivery and safe and effective evidence-based care for residents by assessing, planning, implementing, delivering, and evaluating care in accordance with scope of practice, as well as coordinated health and allied services care planning.

About You

• Bilingual in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) & English is a MUST 
• Willing to work for night shifts will be high regarded 
• Must have completed Certificate III or above relevant programs or perhaps you are an overseas RN
• Previous experiences in residential aged care/ACIF is highly regarded
• Knowledge of and expertise in the residential aged care sector with the ability to implement related legislation and regulations e.g. Aged Care Act and the Aged Care Quality Standards etc. 
• Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply as long as you have the passion in the aged care sector and a caring heart to the elderly work in a fast-paced environment.
