An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant in Nursing to join the team on a casual basis. There are multiple positions available.

The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) assists and supports Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses in the provision of quality patient care. This requires performing of service activities and aspects of direct patient care. The AIN works under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse however retains accountability for personal actions in fulfilling their role.
The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:
- Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living and other tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse/Midwife.
- Ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues and the multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to effectively communicate information verbally and in writing.
- Ability to use or learn to use information systems appropriate to the position.
- Willingness to undertake education as required by the role.
Casual rates of $40.83 to $44.71 per hour (Nurse Grade 1, Band 1)
Requirements:
- Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
