See link -About us:Central Queensland Mental Heatlh Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides specialist Mental Health, substance and alcohol related care to residents of Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gladstone, Biloela, Moura, Woorabinda and Central Highlands districts and adult patients of the Central West Hospital and Health Service (catchments in excess of a population of 250,000).Rockhampton is the principal service centre for this area and as such provides the medical coverage, professional supervision, and administration of the Mental Health Act, 2016, support for accreditation and implementation of programs as well as acute inpatient facilities for the Central Queensland Mental Health teams.About the role:The Assistant in Nursing (AIN) performs the role under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) and is responsible for delivering competent; evidence-based nursing care within scope of practice. The position works collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and reliable care is provided within the dynamic health environment of the Mental Health Inpatient Unit.About you:The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

• A competent level of knowledge and skill to undertake routine clinical practice with a basic understanding of recovery focussed Mental Health care.
• An ability to deliver routine adult Mental Health clinical services utilising time management and prioritisation skills.
• An ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team utilising comprehensive communication skills to establish effective partnerships and provide consultation to the team as well as other government and non–government services providers.

What we offer:Salary information:Total remuneration value of up to $82,239 p.a. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $33.20 - $44.71 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
