Designed for effortless living, Ovolo the Valley features 103 guest rooms, Tel Aviv-inspired Restaurant ZA ZA TA and bar KAZBA, multiple event spaces, and a rooftop pool.The GigReporting to Financial Controller AU, as our Assistant Financial Controller (QLD) you will engage, guide and inspire with a hands-on and collaborative approach to facilitate and drive the finance function. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Training, managing and supervising Accountant(s), Assistant Accountant(s) and Intern(s) in daily/weekly/fortnightly tasks where necessary, such as accounts payables, accounts receivable, month end journals, bank reconciliations, etc. providing guidance that will enable personal development
• Reviewing/performing variance analysis and internal control related matters
• Reviewing/preparing forecast, annual budget and business plan preparation
• Assisting with statutory reporting such as FBT, BAS, etc.
• Ensure and monitor the accuracy and efficiency of Accounts Receivable
• Monitor key performance indicators for the hotels and drive corrective action
