Mater is currently seeking applications for Assistants in Nursing to join our Central Nursing Office (CNO). These are a mixture of permanent, part time roles (28 hours per fortnight) and casual roles. Our CNO AINs work across varying shifts as advised across a 24/7 period.
About you
To be considered suitable for the AIN Casual talent community you will be:
- A current Nursing student (completed first clinical prac) or have a Cert III in Health Services Assistance
- Flexibility to perform in various wards (public and private), adaptability to seamlessly integrate in to different teams and work under different NUMs
- Consistent availability to complete shifts at short notice
- Commitment to excellence in Nursing practice and professional development
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
- Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems
- Prior comparable experience as an Assistant in Nursing or Personal Care Attendant/Assistant (Desirable)
- Working towards the attainment of a Registered Nurse, Midwife or Enrolled Nurse qualification and in the second or final year of studies (Desirable)
