Remuneration: $50,336.67 - $55,225.80 per annum, pro rata

The Assistant in Nursing provides direct care to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including assisting with patient care interventions as directed and maintaining accurate health care documentation as required.
If you have:
- HLT32507 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care) or HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance/or equivalent or equivalent experience OR completion of one (1) or more years of training as an undergraduate nursing student
- Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/seven day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays
- Good knowledge of basic nursing care including physiologic observations and assistance with activities of daily living
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team
- High degree of reliability and punctuality
- Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control standard precautions
- Computer skills including the ability to use a variety of office and health related software applications
