About the Job:
We're looking for an experienced hospitality professional to join us as our Assistant Kitchen Manager. In this role, you'll report to the Kitchen Manager and play a key part in keeping our kitchen operations running smoothly. Your responsibility will be to uphold our high-quality standards. We're seeking a leader in hospitality who can lead by example and collaborate closely with the team in all kitchen operations.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Manage inventory and order supplies.
- Communicate well with the front of house staff.
- Assist with budgeting and food costs.
- Supervise kitchen staff for quality.
- Open and close the restaurant.
- Demonstrated leadership in a busy kitchen setting
- Strong skills in food preparation and efficiency
- Maintains professionalism in stressful situations
- Basic experience in managing budgets and controlling costs
- Excellent presentation, communication, time management, and attention to detail
- Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
