About the Role:
The Meat & Wine Co Bligh Street Sydney restaurant is looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Kitchen Managers who will assist the Head Chef in overseeing all kitchen operations and to become part of our professional and hard-working kitchen team.
We are looking for chefs with:
- Experience in running a kitchen team of 8 + staff in a similar high-volume environment.
- At least 2 + years of proven kitchen management experience.
- A minimum Certificate III Commercial Cookery Qualification.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team to achieve high results.
- Char or flame grill experience is beneficial
- Effective management and sound knowledge of kitchen costs/operations.
- Working knowledge of OH&S/WH&S.
- Flexible availability over a 7-day rotating roster
