Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Chef/Cook to join our team as a full time worker. In your role you will be expected to learn our systems and methods relatively quickly and take on a position of leadership working in assisting to manage and organize our restaurant and catering operation.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations is a key part of their role.
Food preparation and delivery of high quality meals with a focus and attention to detail. Creating daily plans to execute high volume catering.
Keeping track of stock rotation, assisting with ordering and maintaining appropriate supplies and products.
Overseeing the kitchen staff's activities, ensuring that the team works efficiently and effectively. This includes delegating tasks and ensuring time management.
Ability to maintain a calm and focused environment in a fast paced, high intensity environment.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the restaurant's overall success such as B2B sales.
General responsibilities filling in where needed with kitchen responsibility: cleaning, dishes, food preparation.
