The Role
This is a key position in the Management Accounts Team, assisting in the preparation of management accounts to trial balance and assist the Management Accountant with reporting requirements – Training provided.
- Prepare general ledger journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Review of Tropics Revenue Recognition reports and monthly preparation of Revenue Recognition Reconciliation.
- Analysis of Discounts and Promotions and cost allocation.
- Maintain Accruals and Prepayments schedules with ongoing monthly analysis to ensure balances are cleared.
- Assist with refunds and various ad-hoc reporting as required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills having the ability to liaise and interact with management.
Strong attention to detail and an organised, systematic approach to tasks.
Intermediate to Advanced skills across the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
A strong work ethic and a track record of meeting deadlines.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
