The Position
This is a high-volume Assistant Accountant – Credit Management position where the successful applicant will be employed on a full-time permanent basis at our Minto head office with the flexibility to work from home post probation (1 day/week).
The Role
- Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm;
- Credit Management;
- Monthly profit/loss reporting;
- Account reconciliation and analysis;
- Preparation of statutory reports, such as BAS, Payroll Tax, GST and FBT;
- General Accounting functions;
About you
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
- You are meticulous, organised and have a high attention to detail.
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
- 2+ years experience in a similar position.
- Strong accounting skills and business acumen.
- Great organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work efficiently.
- A strong eye for detail and the ability to follow up.
- Demonstrated success working independently and collaboratively with a team to achieve goals.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
