AddressTime for a sea change? We are looking for an experienced, self motivated and dynamic person to join our management team at the West Beach Surf Life Saving Club.
We are a brand new, state of the art 300+ venue right on the beachfront.
The role:
The Club is looking for an Assistant Manager either full time or part time.
Reporting to the Venue Manager and the Food & Beverage Manager.
As Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the successful operations and functions of a multimillion dollar business. You will implement venue operations on a day to basis by leading the team to deliver exceptional customer service & experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team of over 80 staff in a fast-paced environment
- Possess a “Hands on” approach to each shift
- Restaurant and Bar experience
- Have leadership skills and an ability to inspire, develop and coach a large, multi-skilled team
- The ability to manage the day to day operations of the Venue - open/close, back of house administration, recruiting team members, rostering, functions and more
- Ability to manage staff and work with KPI’s
- Have excellent product knowledge and be up to date with industry trends
- Build relationships with regular and new customers
- A strong eye for detail
Essential Key Selection Criteria
- Minimum 2 years of Experience in hospitality, with current or previous management experience preferred
- Experience in H&L systems, stock control, excel and word
- Cash handling experience, rostering and staff training
- Availability to work around peak hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Be able to work unrestricted in Australia
- Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence
- Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets
- Commitment to safety & compliance
- Current industry RSA, First Aid, Police Check and WWCC (which we can assist with applying for)
