Holy Name ELCC is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the team.
This position has become available due to internal movement, allowing for a handover and training to be provided to the successful applicant.
Holy Name is a not-for profit service governed by Catholic Education Western Australia. The service previously set up as a school has been converted to provide care to children aged 0-12 years. All children have access to large outdoor environments, with the OSHC children having access to their own large outdoor space.
We are seeking a Qualified educator, preferably with office/ leadership skills. We are willing to train the right applicant if necessary.
The Assistant Centre Manager is the face of our service, you are who are families see when they first make contact with the service, be this a phone call, an email, or at daily drop off. We need a bright bubbly personality that will spread a little sunshine into the families day.
You are also required to support the Centre Manager in the day-to-day operations ensuring that centre policies and procedures as well as compliance requirements are being met.
You will be required to work within the leadership team that will also consist of the Centre Manager and Pedagogy and Practice Leader in supporting the implementation of programmes that the children’s development in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework.

To apply for this position, you will need a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification, a current Working with Children’s Check and solid computer skill. An ideal candidate would also have experience in a management or leadership role, the use of XAP or similar software.
