The Assistant Managerwill have a passion for a high standard of service, and lead by example. With the customer experience first and foremost communication and an outgoing, friendly personality is a must for this position. A strong work ethic is essential, to ensure the service levels to guests reflect the Holy Ship’s standards. The role entailstaking and giving direction and maintaining all aspects, of the Holy Ship daily operations.

The role requires:
• Being able to trouble shoot, provide solutions to problems, able to learn new skillsand being able to use constructive criticism as a positive.
• Ability to follow policy & procedures, legislation and up-holding confidentiality.
• Experience in taking instruction & leading a hospitality team within a busy, high-volume environment. Being able to lead by example and communicate effectively,and appropriately.
• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Being a team player & leading day-to-day operation
• Ensuring high levels of team performance
• Training, supervising and motivating crew members.
• Enhancing the Holy Ship experience by identifying operational shortfalls and implementing corrective actions
• Ability to work a flexible roster including nights and weekends.
• Adherence to procedures and financial performance

The required qualifications
• Food Safety Certificate
• Responsible Service of Alcohol
• Current Queensland RMLV (Desirable)
• First Aid Certificate
