This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager to join a well-established accounting firm. The firm itself is a boutique firm consisting of 4 partners and a team of 15 staff members.
They work with some of Australia's most dynamic privately owned businesses and SMEs across a diverse range of industries.
The firm is very flexible and puts emphasis on maintaining a clear work life balance, this includes offering working school hour flexibilities and multiple days working from home.
Responsibilities
- Review work papers and ensure appropriate evidence is documented;
- Shares knowledge, best practices and industry market trends to actively increase the overall knowledge of the team;
- Managing a portfolio of clients across a variety of sector.
- Communicates with manager and partners on work flow and matters. relating to staff performance.
- Managing a small team.
- Providing complex tax planning advice for clients.
Requirements
- Completed CA or CPA
- Strong communication skills.
- 4- 5 years + experience in Professional Services.
- Experience with Xero and MYOB, preferable.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
