About the role
As the Assistant Manager Care Services, you will report to the Manager Care and Wellbeing and be responsible for leading and coaching a care team to deliver high quality care for our residents. You will need to be a strong communicator and be able to utilise your diverse clinical skills to foster the best clinical practice and ensure compliance in all areas. This is an opportunity for someone who has a solid nursing background perhaps with some Team Leader experience who is looking to step up and further their career within the Aged Care space. You will be supported and mentored by an experienced Manager and General Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Current registration with AHPRA (RN essential)
- Atleast 2 years experience working as a Registered Nurse within an Aged Care Sector
- Have a good understanding of Quality Standards and Quality Indictaors including the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS)
- Have a focus on ensuring the highest quality care is consistently delivered to residents
- Have the confidence to make sound clinical decisions and the ability to think on your feet and work under pressure
- Profiency and understanding of electronic care management systems and computer applications.
