This role sits within the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Services (QARS) directorate in the Learning Improvement division. Our directorate regulates and supports over 5,900 services in NSW through monitoring, assessment and rating, enforcement and compliance and approval processes, and a wide range of sector development, support and engagement activities. We continuously strive to work with the education and care sector to improve how we regulate to enhance child outcomes. We also work with other government agencies to ensure the safety of children.
About the role
The Customer Service Assistant Manager provides quality assurance, high level reporting and analysis of complaints and feedback data. They also provide high-level support in complaints management and escalation to optimise regulatory engagement with the sector and accountability to the public.

- A valid Working with Children Check clearance.
Key knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and the ECE First Steps Strategy to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
