Form of workWe are seeking an Assistant Manager from a similar food and beverage environment who excels in strong people management and leading others. You will enjoy thriving in a busy environment as well as leading your team to ensure a welcoming environment that strives to exceed guest expectations.
Assist the Café Manager in all day-to-day operations through;
- Lead by example and be hands on with your team
- Deliver exceptional service and effective management ensuring a high standard of consistency and quality
- Manage costs to meet targets and identify opportunities to build the business
- Maintain and grow customer and supplier relationships
- Shared responsibility for stock management and ordering
- Work with the Café Manager on budgeting and cost controls
- Maintain café presentation, cleanliness and Dome integrity for your team and guests
About you:
- Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced environment
- Sound decision making and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
- Keen interest to inspire others to learn and develop
- Flexibility to work Monday to Sunday 5:30am -9:30pm, with 2 RDOs per week
- Passion for coffee!
