Position:Assistant Manager of Cleaning Services (Hands-On)
Type: Casual Full-Time
Role Overview: We are on the lookout for a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager of Cleaning Services who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and join in on the cleaning efforts. This dual role involves both supervising our cleaning team and actively participating in the cleaning processes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the Cleaning Services Manager in daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Cleaning Services, and upholding our company’s standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in and oversee the execution of Cleaning tasks, ensuring top-quality service and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Cleaning Services department, including workforce scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations and ensure the team follows company standards and policies.
- Collaborate with the Cleaning Services Manager to develop and implement efficient and effective cleaning strategies and processes.
- Manage inventory of Cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring their optimal use and maintenance.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, promptly addressing and resolving any service issues or concerns.
- Assist with budget management, planning, and reporting.
- Conduct site inspections to guarantee service quality and compliance with client specifications.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new cleaning staff.
Qualifications:
- Solid experience in the cleaning or HVAC industry, with prior supervisory or leadership roles preferred.
- Hands-on approach and willingness to participate in cleaning tasks.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety practices within the cleaning industry.
- Flexible work ethic and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and service.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
