You’ll be empowered to challenge the status quo and find a way to make things happen to add real value to our clients’ businesses.The Transfer Pricing team operates as a cohesive group within the broader Tax Advisory practice. The team provide specialist Transfer Pricing advice to a wide range of clients in relation to cross-border transactions. Collaboration is encouraged, and regular training keeps the team up to date on current tax matters. Team members receive regular tax technical training from the National Tax Group. From legislative updates, recent cases, and ATO public rulings, our training keeps you updated on the latest developments in tax.About the roleAs an Assistant Manager or Manager within our Transfer Pricing team of our Tax Advisory practice at Pitcher Partners, you will work directly with business owners and key stakeholders to provide commercial solutions that have a meaningful impact. With the firm’s broad client base, you’ll have the opportunity to hone deep technical expertise to apply across all manner of situations and industry sectors.In this role, you will prepare and deliver Transfer Pricing advice and assistance for a range of multinational companies ranging in size and complexity. The breadth of the role means in any one day you might provide advice across a range of technical Transfer Pricing issues as well as being a trusted advisor partnering with clients to help solve their broader business issues. - Transfer Pricing Advisory: reviewing clients’ global supply chains and international related party dealings, developing new Transfer Pricing policies for clients, assisting with the roll-out and implementation of Transfer Pricing policies, advising on the Transfer Pricing implications of new transactions or arrangements, preparing pricing analyses for a range of different types of related party dealings including loans, IP, management charges, etc.
- Transfer Pricing Controversy: Gathering evidence and analysis to defend ATO reviews and audits, work in the valuation of intangible assets and develop quality and practical planning services.
- Preparing quality Transfer Pricing and economic ideas
- Build and cultivate client relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholder
- Coach, support, and lead team members, delivering technical training
- Engage in business development opportunities
- Professional tax services experience, having had exposure to Transfer Pricing issues
- Experience delivering commercial tax/Transfer Pricing advice to a range of clients from different backgrounds or business sectors
- Positive team player with the ability to contribute to the delivery of successful client projects and manage and coach junior team members.
- Effective communicator, can build rapport, influence, and negotiate effectively with both internal and external clients when required.
- Self-motivated and able to manage conflicting deadlines. You have a genuine interest in furthering your career in tax and providing exceptional advice to our clients and internal stakeholders.
