Jewells Primary School has a culture of high expectations where all students value learning and strive to succeed. Jewells Primary School has an enrolment of 280 students, including 29 Aboriginal students, and one of our classes is a Regional Opportunity Class (OC) for Years 5 and 6, with students from over 20 schools applying to be part of that class each year. Jewells Primary School offers a number of extra-curricular initiatives across sports, arts and cultural fields.
The school enjoys a strong connection with the Wakul Karabang (Belmont) Community of Schools, JPS Parents and Citizens (P&C) association, and the Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG). Positive partnerships underpin strong relationships that benefit all students.

- Demonstrated capacity to build a positive school culture through high expectations and engagement.
- Proven ability to implement, manage and lead change alongside a dynamic team.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
