Assistant Product Manager to join the Centurion Product Management Team, more specifically looking after Benefits & Super Premium ExperiencesThis role will be critical in the ongoing evolution and diversification of the Centurion Value proposition, commercial management associated with benefits & experiences, and securing a strong pipeline of Partner Sourced Value.The year ahead will yield an exciting chapter for the Centurion team, including the celebration of our 20 year anniversary, strategic product evolution, margin improvement initiatives, optimised Servicing approach, new special access partnerships & a continued focused on Share of Travel Wallet.Reporting into the Centurion
Product Manager, you will be responsible for addressing Card Member benefit needs to ensure satisfaction and retention, supporting the delivery of an optimum value proposition, whilst concurrently delivering long-term product profitability and upholding our brand values. You will also be responsible for the management & development of one direct report, who will support on Super Premium experiences.You’ll form a key part of the ICS Centurion Product Team.
Key accountabilities:- Support the Product Manager on the execution of the Centurion Product Strategy
- Delivery of product refreshes, benefit launches and decommissions and special projects through partnership with cross functional teams
- Support the Product manager on strategic initiatives to maximise the profitability through a combination of account growth and margin enhancement
- Management of our Centurion Surprise & Delight program
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with third party vendors and partners, maximizing partner sourced valu
- Forecasting, reporting and budget management across all Benefits costs
- Ensure high standard of product compliance, identifying and addressing any operational or regulatory risk
- Establish a strong customer management strategy and close effective partnership with our servicing teams, including the development of Relationship Manager training on all new benefit launches
- Partner with Premium Products COE (centre of excellence) to both share and take best practices
- Analyse market research and segmentation to assess customer attitudes to our products and potential for partnerships
- Liaise with the internal marketing teams regarding product positioning, promotions, and go to market execution of campaign
- Close working relationship with servicing teams across Card, Risk, Credit and Travel & Lifestyle ensuring premium customer experience
- Work closely with our events agency to develop & execute our experiential program
- Continually look for opportunities for special access to Surprise & Delight our card members
- Leadership of one direct report, responsible for the development and execution of the Centurion By Invitation Only Program
Qualifications:- Strategic thinker and self-starter with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Strong commercial acumen, including ability to identify and size business opportunities
- Project management experience with discipline to manage multiple projects running concurrently
- Team player who is flexible and maintains a positive attitude even during changing work priorities
- Track record of execution in spite of roadblocks
- Analytically minded with the ability to turn data and research into actionable insights Customer advocate with a pulse of trends shaping demand
- Understanding of Amex products and competitive landscape
- Excellent written and oral communications skills to influence at all levels
