ABOUT THE ROLE:
PERSOLKELLY are in partnership with a leading biotechnology company specialised in processing, manufacturing, and distributing allograft tissues products, is recruiting an Assistant Production Manager to support the Production Manager and team
Responsibilities:
- Support the Production Manager and team with your expertise in allograft production, leveraging your 4+ years of experience.
- Address daily queries related to products, machinery, and staff, ensuring smooth operations.
- Ensure the safe and effective manufacturing of musculoskeletal tissue within regulatory guidelines.
- Uphold continuous Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards throughout allograft production processes.
- Assist in the development of new allografts and manufacturing techniques.
- Perform tasks such as cleaning, cutting, freeze-drying, and inspecting various bone and tissue types in a sterile environment.
- Operate equipment and tools including band saws, CNC machines, and medical instruments to shape human tissue for allografts.
YOU WILL HAVE
- Proficiency in the manufacturing of human tissue allografts.
- Familiarity with Australian standards and guidelines for cleanrooms and medical device sterilization.
- Knowledge of the current Australian Code of GMP - Human Blood and Tissues.
- Understanding of relevant therapeutic goods regulations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to ethical standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in science, medical science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
- 1+ year of experience in a production supervisory or team leadership role.
