Job Description:
- To take instruction and assist the Factory Manager to ensure the plant is operating at maximum efficiency.
- To maintain the production schedules in a timely manner.
- To ensure all Employee schedules are produced daily.
- To consistently work in our Process Improvement Book in order to contribute to positive change to the company
- To write, review and implement related factory training procedures
- To follow all procedures set out in the Company Manual and Standard Operating Procedures and/or as advised by Company Director/Operations Manager.
- Develop and coordinate improvements to our production system.
- Balance production capacity with demand to maximize efficiency and minimize lead time.
- Adjust production schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand or unforeseen issues.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and product obsolescence
- Work closely with production teams to communicate production schedules and priorities
- Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure that production processes adhere to quality standards
- Generate reports on production performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements
- To be familiar with, and to follow, the guidelines for operating the Jehbco manufacturing plant.
- Assist Quality Control personnel in troubleshooting non-conformances.
- Lead and aid in the automation of processes where feasible.
- Conduct necessary meeting sessions with factory operators and other departments as required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months Formal training in Manufacturing Planning and/or Engineering.
- Advanced MS Excel, MS Office and Outlook skills
- Basic knowledge in SAP
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- Demonstrated high level of attention to detail
- Leadership level communication skills
- High levels of professionalism and work ethic
