About the role
We are seeking a vibrant, diligent and self motivated Assistant Project Manager to join our team working alongside our Senior Project Managers. The role would suit candidates who not only have experience in the design, construction or development industry (especially in roles with demonstrated a client interface); but also those who are looking to establish a career in client side Project Management. Some experience in commercial project delivery would be beneficial, but is not essential as we offer a pathway for career growth through on the job training and the delivery of varying sized projects whilst providing a great work culture and working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting Snr Project Managers in the administration of projects including contract administration;
- Liaising with and coordinating external design consultants and authorities
- Participating in construction site inspections
- Generally working as part of the project team to produce great results and to deliver great outcomes for our clients
About you
- A formal tertiary qualification from a relevant background such as Construction, Engineering, Design/Architecture or similar would be beneficial
- Experience working in the construction / development industry (including design) would be valuable
- Ability to read and interpret design plans;
- Exceptional communication skills (construction / development industry dialect valuable)Have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills;
- Punctual and reliable;
- Be self motivated with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
