Assistant Project Manager

Summary:

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Management team to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope and maintain communication with project team regarding changes or delays.
• Understand and comply with contract requirements, maintaining records, ensuring invoicing, and compliance for projects.
• Assist in schedule development, implementation, and monitoring, including assessing time management outcomes.
• Maintain project controls, assist in budget development, identify and address issues, and accurately report project status.
• Develop controls to ensure policy compliance and adherence to governance standards.
• Document and ensure compliance with quality policies, conduct quality delivery, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Establish and manage risk tools, mitigate project risks, identify opportunities, and escalate as needed.
• Support procurement processes, ensure supplier compliance, contribute to selection, and assist in finalization activities.
• Actively participate in meetings, ensure completion of action items, and prepare accurate reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in property/project/construction management professional discipline (or equivalent)
• Demonstrate market knowledge and proficiency in your field; maintain high ethical standards at all times; keep abreast of industry and professional developments maintain personal expertise.
• Demonstrate strong relationship skills and exceptional communication skills.
