With an established and impressive portfolio already in construction and a vast pipeline taking them well into the future, they are searching for the right person to join their growing team.
The role of Assistant Project Manager is part of the construction team and reports directly into the Project Manager. This is a site-based role and accommodation is provided. There may be the possibility to drive in and
drive out depending on your location.
Key Responsibilities
● Implement detailed project plans.
● Managing competing priorities of budgets, goals, schedules, and resources
● Identify opportunities to reduce cost, minimise risk, improve safety and ensure quality.
● Develop a detailed technical understanding of the project design (including civil, mechanical,
and electrical) to assist in problem solving.
● Provide technical assistance to key stakeholders.
● Communicate with stakeholders and community groups while providing updates on project
milestones.
● Embody the values and lead by example in partnership with all stakeholders.
About you
● Bachelor of Engineering
● Post Grad qualification in Project Management or equivalent competency
● Experience in the construction of large scale renewable or infrastructure projects
● Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience in delivery of major projects, preferably in energy or infrastructure
● Driver’s licence
● Adaptable, flexible, and resourceful.
● Honest, open, truthful, and collaborative.
● Ability to build strong relationships while upholding site safety.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Ability to write detailed reports and prepare and deliver presentations at internal and
community levels.
