A great opportunity exists at one of our premium assets in Sydney for a passionate and enthusiastic candidate to join the Dexus Office Asset management team as an Assistant Property Manager focused on support at 25 Martin Place.
An icon of the Sydney skyline, 25 Martin Place has been an Australian living landmark for over 40 years. Designed by Harry Seidler, 25 Martin Place is a mixed-use development located in the core of the Sydney CBD comprising 59 levels of A-grade office accommodation, retail shops, carparking and Theatre Royal.
The complex has recently undergone a major redevelopment of retail resulting in a world class precinct boasting luxury and premium brands on Castlereagh and King Streets as well as a collection of refined restaurants and bars bringing the outdoor plaza to life.
How you will make an impact
As the Assistant Property Manager, you are responsible for contributing to a culture of outstanding customer service and accountability with Dexus and the respective external property and facilities teams.
You will be responsible for executing best in class property and facilities services through the day-to-day contribution to the operations of 25 Martin Place. Working collaboratively with the Senior Property Manager and General Manager, you will be responsible for various administrative, financial and tenant management processes.
As a highly valued member of the onsite based team; you will work to ensure best in class customer experience on a day-to-day basis.
Working under the direction of the General Manager and Senior Property Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner across internal Dexus teams including finance, operations, leasing and others to ensure proper procedures and reporting.
  • Working closing with the Facilities Management team in the delivery of best of class operational services across the property.
  • Collating monthly reporting and cash flow budgets.
  • Demonstrating a high level of customer service focus with proven ability to work in partnership with the customer, establish strong relationships, anticipate customer's needs, ensuring a high level of service to meet our customer's needs.
  • Recording relevant tenant interactions in the customer relations system
  • Arrears management and lease account management.
  • Develop and utilise a strong working knowledge of building services and Real Estate market activities, developments and trends.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in a business, economics, property, finance, or related discipline preferred.
  • 2 + years' Experience in commercial property management.
  • Hold sound understanding of lease interpretation, lease administration and property finance principles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Great ability to problem solve with confidence and making recommendations to senior management.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Open communicator, collaborative and always wanting to drive excellent results.
