We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager.

Responsibilities :

• Assist with the management of the daily operations of the restaurant.
• Briefing staff on the operation, including dietary dishes of the day and out of stock items
• Development and training of staff
• Maintaining high standards of service
• Opening and/or closing of the Venue
• Oversee and allocate staff breaks whilst maintaining wage cost targets
• Processing & reconciling POS, EFT terminals and complete end of day financial reporting
• Attending management briefings and meetings
• Monitor venue ambiance, including lighting, sound/music, venue cleanliness and table setups
• Display strong leadership and generate a fun and positive working environment for the restaurant team
• Administrative duties such as bookings and emails 

Essential skills:

• 2+ years’ experience in a restaurant supervisory/management position
• Approved managers certification
• Be able to work in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.
• Have a passion for delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction.
• Have strong leadership skills
• H&L (POS) Knowledge is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and multi-tasking skills
• Strong administrative skills

This is a live-on Island position, and accommodation is provided on top of the salary package.
