La Sosta restaurant located in Fremantle serving authentic Italian cuisine since 2012. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a passionate and energetic hospitality professional with upmarket casual fine dine cuisine experience or background to assist us to manage the day-to-day operations of our busy restaurant. You will be responsible for the successful operation of our restaurant and functions.
We pride our reputation on the highest quality of food and service. We are currently seeking highly committed individual to join our existing vibrant team. This role will focus on the training and leadership of our team of waitstaff, ensuring the team is delivering consistently professional, efficient and friendly service.
We are a busy venue, open 5 days a week.
Role:
You will be responsible for opening and closing of the venue, day-to-day operations of our restaurant and functions.
Taking initiative to ensure that customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
Recruitment, induction and training of new staff.
Rostering, management of labour costs and stock control.
Ensuring our team is well briefed on all standard and special menu items. Working closely with our manager and head chef.
To Be Successful For This Role -
Minimum two years experience in a similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel environment.
Strong food and wine knowledge.
A team leader with exemplary skill and presentation.
Available and willing to work evenings, days and weekends.
Have an understanding of POS system.
Hold an unrestricted Approved Managers Certificate.
