We are seeking Assistant Restaurant Managers and Restaurant Managers with experience in casual and premium dining to join some amazing businesses across Melbourne.
- Assist Management in overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including staffing, training, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Provide leadership and guidance, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures and deliver high-quality service.
- Supervise activities in the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and customer interactions.
- Recruitment- hiring, and training new employees, and provide ongoing coaching and development to existing staff members.
- Collaborate with the kitchen to maintain food quality and consistency, and ensure timely preparation and service of meals.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies, conducting regular stock counts, and minimising waste.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the restaurant, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional and efficient manner, escalating issues to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as payroll processing, scheduling, and reporting, using computer software applications as needed.
- Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving revenue targets, controlling costs, and maximising profitability.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-focused approach to service.
- Detail-oriented and organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in computer software applications, such as point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends
