LOCATED IN OUTBACK SOUTH AUSTRALIA - LIVE IN ROLE - RELOCATION IS REQUIRED

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for this busy roadhouse located in Outback South Australia.
This is a hands on position assisting the Roadhouse Managers with the running of the property including opens, closes, holiday relief and hands on all-rounder type duties. The successful candidate must be willing to work across all areas of the venue. Being a small team, everyone jumps in where needed.

Package:
- $72,500 per annum salary
- Accommodation & Meals Supplied
- Accommodation is own private room with own bathroom
Duties-Include but not limited to:
- Assist onsite managers with all aspects of the roadhouse in a hands on capacity
- General open / close procedures
- Stock control, stock ordering, stock takes in line with company policy
- Provide leadership, mentoring & training to a diverse team.
- Set up shop displays in accordance with group promotions.
- Loading and unloading of stock, stock rotation and distribution.
- Hands on counter, shop, and outdoor work.
- Counting and balancing of tills
- Liaise with management, suppliers, and service providers to ensure the smooth and continuous operation of the property.
- Administration Duties including reservations, checks ins, banking.
- Manage the roadhouse in the absence of the site managers during periods of days off / annual leave
- Other duties as required.
- Obtain or hold a National Police Clearance
- Obtain or hold an RSA Certificate
- Obtain a SA Responsible Persons Badge
- Previous retail management experience will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience with stock control and stock management will be highly regarded.
- Experience with supervision and training of staff is required.
- Computer skills are essential.
- Must have a can-do attitude, and a willingness to work flexible hours to meet business needs.
- A desire to learn new skills and overcome challenges while leading a diverse team in a remote location.
