Job Description:How will I help?As our Executive Manager for Stress Testing Risk and Data, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring compliance with APRA's annual Industry Stress Test requirement, where they provide Westpac with varying scenarios to be tested each year.In this dynamic role, you'll have four direct reports, guiding them in leading credit Stress Testing execution, supporting analysts within the team, and offering subject matter expertise. You'll dive deep into portfolios, ensuring we understand our data thoroughly and continuously improve our processes. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing Stress Testing cycles, calculating and reviewing results, and producing clear reports to inform decision-making across the organisation. You'll also interpret sensitivity analysis results, explaining them to various stakeholders, and oversee the enhancement of analytical tools.What's in it for me?You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for 200 years. And we continue to pay your super contributions while you take all the time you need to get your new family settledWhat do I need?You'll demonstrate a deep knowledge of credit modelling, IFRS9 provisioning, financial markets, systems infrastructure, and internal/external reporting and have familiarity with climate risk Stress Testing and proficiency in coding, particularly in SAS, will be essential. You'll leverage your high level of numeracy to tackle complex subjects and develop intricate spreadsheets, further bolstering our risk management efforts.With over 10 years of experience in banking or financial services, you'll bring a robust understanding of regulatory and industry requirements. Your exceptional communication skills will be key as you collaborate with internal stakeholders across various levels, ensuring clarity and alignment in our Stress Testing processes. A continuous improvement mindset will drive you to challenge the status quo, innovating and implementing better ways to execute stress tests effectively.As a self-directed individual, you'll be well-organised, planning meticulously to deliver high-quality results within tight timelines.
