About the Role – Assistant Store Manager
JAX Tyres & Auto Bowen Hills are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will manage workshops while developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and team members.
You will be working in a organised store, closely alongside your front of house and workshop team, to deliver an industry leading level of customer service.
If you are a workshop manager, with mechanical experience looking to advance your career then this is the role for you.
Your day-to-day tasks would include:
- Attending to customers and providing exceptional customer experience
- Motivating, encouraging, and communicating with your team
- Mentoring and leading staff
- Relationship building with staff, customers, suppliers and more.
- Handling and processing payments
- Maintaining sales, receipts, and stock records
- Consulting the store owner in optimising business operations and performance
About you
- Must have mechanical background, hands on experience with tyre and wheels
- Excellent communication skills, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment, but also unsupervised.
- Computer Literate
- Understand targets and KPI’s.
- Knowledgeable in WHS practices
- Natural possession of leadership skills.
- MUST be experienced in the automotive tyre industry.
- MUST be available to working Saturdays (8am to Midday)
