About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as an Assistant to the Manager at John Flynn Retirement Village. This role is vital in supporting the Village Manager and leadership team to coordinate effective, appropriate and quality services to residents in the village. This is a part time position working Saturday & Sunday 0900 - 1700.
At Ryman, our Assistant to the Manager wears many hats. Whilst leading with kindness and clarity, this role is a key player in our multi-disciplinary village leadership team. Whilst working closely with the Village Manager, Clinical Manager and Facilities Manager, in this role you will:
In this role you will:
- Support and assist the Village Manager with administration and to provide quality services to both residents and staff
- Oversee reception and administrative functions at the village in absence of the Village Manager and Resident Services Manager
- Provide administration support including recruitment, inductions, training and payroll assistance
Support with rostering to ensure no shift goes unfilled
- Be proficient at taking minutes, maintaining quality systems and be the in-house support for IT coordination
