Perhaps you’re one of them.Meet your teamThe Outsourced Finance team is a well-established team within the Business Advisory & Assurance division of Pitcher Partners Melbourne. Our team, consisting of around 35 employees, provides outsource finance and administrative services to a wide range of clients in varying industries, including: infrastructure and asset management, retail, finance and technology. While acting as the outsource finance provider, we are exposed to all aspects of our client’s businesses, allowing us to gain valuable insight. Being so close to our clients allows us to provide the right advice, leveraging off other teams within the firm when required.Our team is growing, and we're looking for a passionate and ambitious Senior Analyst or Assistant Manager to join us on this exciting journey. You will work closely with other members of the team whilst also establishing a close working relationship with your clients. These relationships will be a foundation for you to develop your business acumen and problem-solving skills.About the roleThe responsibilities of the role include managing your own client engagements, reviewing and at times preparing standard month end procedures, ad hoc project work like financial modelling, and managing junior staff members. - Preparation and review of periodic management accounts and reconciliation packs in line with client reporting deadlines;
- Preparation of annual statutory financial reports (audited and unaudited);
- Preparation and review of key balance sheet and profit & loss reconciliations;
- Preparation of 3-way financial budgets, reforecasts and cash flow forecasts;
- Attendance to information requests and ad hoc queries – as we provide a full service offering there are a lot of ad hoc requests that come through;
- Providing support to junior staff to assist in their development and ensuring client outcomes are delivered on time
