Riverland Group’s, The Boatbuilders Yard, is recruiting an Assistant Venue Manager to join the team of our largest venue as it continues to grow.
The Boatbuilders Yard
Located in the heart of South Wharf, easily accessible by tram or train, the Boatbuilders Yard is a heritage listed boatshed, that captures the history and charm of the community’s maritime history. We are a 1400-person capacity bar and eatery in a bustling city-edge environment. With DFO shopping outlets, the Convention Centre and the entertainment precinct on our doorstep, no two days are the same.
Many of our existing management team have all been internally developed through our in-depth and diverse in-house training program. They are authentic, professional, and purposeful in their approach – they push, re-imagine, cultivate, and lead.

Who We Are Looking For:
Our Managers are more than just shift runners. We welcome you to gain a sound understanding and insight into the operations of the business, including staffing and recruitment, finance, and menu development. Our leaders manage diverse teams of up to 65 enthusiastic and passionate staff. There is the chance to make the venue and the team your own.

We’re looking for a hands-on, optimistic and detail orientated manager with 2+ years experience in a leadership role.
