Form of workIncredible permanent opportunity has arisen for an Associate Adviser currently undertaking their PY or Junior Financial Advisor with 1-2 years experience to join one of Brisbane's most prestigious privately owned firms with stunning offices based in the heart of Brisbane CBD.
The position will be onboarding/managing 100-150 intern medical clients working closely with the Senior Advisors and Partners.

The Associate Adviser will be responsible for providing financial advice to an established book of clients as well as growing the book once they have entered the last quarter of their PY. You will receive continuous mentoring and professional development from the Senior Advisers and the Partners.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Managing and providing holistic advice to clients.
- Successfully develop and maintain client relationships.
- Conduct regular client meetings face to face as well as via phone / zoom.
- Onboard new clients.
- Prepare and make recommendations for client financial plans.
- Delegation of non-advisory follow up work to the client services team.
- Provide strategic, investment and protection advice to an existing set of high-net worth clients.
- Engage with new referrals to establish their financial needs and offer wealth management support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to investigate suitable client strategies and recommendations.
- Uphold high professional standards.
About You:
You’re a self-driven Associate or Junior Financial Advisor looking for that opportunity to be rewarded in a long-standing firm.
- Bachelor's degree
- Hold appropriate financial planning qualifications and working toward FASEA education requirements, including FASEA exam and TPB requirements.
- Commenced or completed their PY.
- Be able to conduct robust goals-based conversations with clients.
- Excellent fact finding, listening and questioning skills.
- Be able to work remotely as part of a team providing a consistent quality client experience.
- Have an excellent compliance and record keeping approach to financial planning.
- Display a strong understanding of the technical aspects of wealth and insurance strategies.
- Have a passion for wanting to help improve the lives of our clients.
