About the Role:
This opportunity represents an exciting opening within our Personal Advice Risk Insurance team. As an Associate Advisor you will work collaboratively to provide a high level of service to our clients through the delivery of Risk Insurance solutions. These solutions successfully strike a balance between people and financial outcomes. You will be fundamental in providing an ongoing service to a portfolio of clients, and assisting our Advisers with the implementation of new business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing the advice process beginning to end and will be working closely with the Adviser, Paraplanners and the rest of our support team
- Risk Researcher experience (or similar) required
- Attending and assisting Adviser in client meetings including preparing all file notes where required
- Attending new business meetings and assisting with the preparation of strategy and advice submission to Paraplanner
- Assisting in the onboarding of new clients
- Assisting in the preparation of strategies and research
- Liaising with paraplanning to ensure our advice process is efficient and compliant
- Reviewing Statements of Advice and Records of Advice
- Reviewing paperwork and approving implementation tasks
- Communicating with clients to ensure they're getting a world-class client experience
Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in paraplanning, client services or an Associate Advisor role within a financial planning practice
- Completion or close to completion of an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) or a Bachelor degree meeting all relevant FASEA requirements
- Knowledge of Xplan is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite & Adobe Pro
- Proactive & solution driven
- Professional communication & confidence to meet with clients in person.
- Attention to detail & ability manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
