AddressOur client is nameplate lender and investor to the renewables, energy, infrastructure and property sectors with a focus on sustainability. With a growing portfolio of debt and Equity Investments, an Associate is currently sought to manage an existing portfolio of debt and Equity Investments.
The opportunity
Working closely with the investment team, you will be responsible for analysing, monitoring and reporting on portfolio performance across both debt investments (i.e. non-bank loans) and Equity Investments (asset management) - highlighting any issues and recommendations to the investment committee and ultimately the Board. This will include managing ongoing satisfaction of borrower / investee obligations, periodic valuations, monitoring of risk & return and conducting industry and scenario analysis. The Associate will also work closely with sustainability and investment teams to drive knowledge sharing and influence outcomes.
Required skills & experience
The successful applicant will likely have ~2-5 years’ experience with a major domestic or international bank with a strong understanding of infrastructure, renewables or property project finance. Direct experience analysing credit risk and financial and non-financial business risk is essential, ideally with exposure to both bank loan and fixed income transactions. Exposure or a keen interest in sustainable finance and investment will be looked upon favourably. Most importantly, we are seeking an individual with a strong commercial orientation coupled with the ability to pro-actively identify, quantify and communicate project, asset and credit risks.
