Smile Clinic has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and friendly dentist to join our growing team!

Smile Clinic is a general and cosmetic dental practice bringing affordable high-quality dental care to the southern suburbs - with our next clinic opening in the Victor Harbor Health Hub in early 2024.

Working as a dentist for Smile Clinic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services to our valued patients. You will also have the opportunity to use leading edge digital technology to complete crown and bridge treatments, the best in endodontic equipment, plus the ability to learn and grow in the world of digital dentistry.

The right candidate will be a foundation member of a brand-new practice. We are seeking someone who has the drive and passion to contribute to developing the new practice to its full potential, while being mentored and supported by a motivated and ethically focused team.

The successful candidate will commence work as Part-time, with the prospect of moving into a Full-time position, sharing duties between both locations - Seaford Meadows and Victor Harbor.

Key Duties

• Conduct routine examinations, including radiographs, scale and cleans and oral cancer checks
• Provide hygiene education and techniques to patients
• Develop treatment plans
• Perform restorative and cosmetic procedures
• Maintain patient records
• Adhere to infection control standards and procedures

About You

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, caring, and friendly demeanour towards patients and colleagues
• Dedication to learning new skills and techniques
• Enthusiasm towards building positive rapport with patients
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
• Willingness to commit a long-term relationship with our clinic, patients and community
• Readiness to travel between 2 locations - Seaford Meadows and Victor Harbor

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a registered dental practitioner (preferred)

• APHRA registration
• Indemnity insurance
• Current radiation licence (EPA)
