The possibilities are endless.About the roleWe have a permanent part time 3 days per week opportunity for a School Education Officer.In this role you’ll apply your teaching skills through delivering multi-sensory experiences, that empower K-12 Western Australian students to take action on sustaining our environment and ensuring our water future.As an early childhood educator, you’ll be joining our team of primary school, high school and specialist educators to collectively design, develop and deliver the Waterwise Schools Program.You’ll also provide community education incursions and excursions of facilities to school children in the metropolitan area and assist with events, where required.This is a great opportunity to broaden your teaching career in a diverse, flexible and rewarding setting and help shape the future of Water Corporations highly successful education program.Bring your Early Childhood Teaching experience to add value to a recognised, exceptionally successful program that has engaged with over 40 000 school students a year.A career at Water Corporation can unlock the door to ongoing long term career development opportunities; we also support training and development, flexible work arrangements, health and lifestyle programs and generous company benefits.What the role will involve:· Delivering a range of incursions and excursions on water education to students from Pre-Primary to Year 12, at schools· Assisting in designing and delivering high quality, engaging and curriculum-aligned water education materials and resources to supplement our Waterwise School Program· Collaborate with the team to support administration processes and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meet the needs of the business.· Support the broader Partnerships and Education team with events and activations, such as Perth Royal Show.· Occasional early starts and some out of hours and weekend working commitments are part of this role.
