The University is seeking to appoint an Associate Director, Client Services and Engagement to join the Library Executive Leadership Team. As Associate Director, Client Services and Engagement you will provide strategic leadership to support the development of the Library’s research and education support services, to enhance the teaching, learning and research requirements of the University. You will lead the transformation of front facing services, with an emphasis on technology lead service models and the development of new, flexible, client centred service models informed by User Experience (UX) testing. Under the direction of the University Librarian, you will undertake UX, research and evaluation to anticipate and capitalise on strategic opportunities to enhance support and apply emerging practices and technologies to improve service delivery and Engagement.You will guide, and provide expert and strategic advice to, the University Librarian on issues concerning strategic planning for Academic Engagement, Client Services and Student Engagement and Partnership models and activities, and actively participate and drive strategic planning for the Library as a whole.
