The Opportunity The Associate Director, Travel Safety and Risk is the lead point of contact for international risk and safety preparedness protocols and services associated with travel across the University for staff and students. This role coordinates policies, procedures related to travel, and leads communication and response during travel incidents and emergencies. Promoting best practice health, Safety and security for the University travel programs, including staff and all student travel is a key responsibility. Key Responsibilities: Leading the development and implementation of strategy, policy, procedure, response plans and training in relation to travel Initiate and lead partnerships across the University, industry and government to achieve an integrated approach to risk, emergency and crisis management Monitor global risk ratings by DFAT and prepare advice, briefings and reports for senior executives to inform decision making The successful appointee will have: Extensive experience at a senior management level in a complex…
