Credit Portfolio Management (CPM) team is a dynamic team responsible for the optimisation and active management of the Institutional Bank & Markets (IB&M) balance sheet and capital as well as supporting the pricing and origination of non-retail lending across the Group.
Our utility function leads various initiatives for IB&M's Capital Structuring (Cap S), along with being the Product Owners of strategic business tools used across IB&M and Business Banking areas for: loan pricing - estimating returns on regulatory capital that underpin price decisions, and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) - managing ESG risks at customer / transaction level.
Do work that matters
This role will leverage your business analyst background to work closely with the Product Owners to deliver outcomes. Key tasks will include but not be limited to:
- Support and engage with Bankers across Institutional and Business Bank using the pricing and ESG tools as key enablers for deal origination
- Manage and maintain excellent working relationships with internal pricing and ESG stakeholders to ensure alignment of business tools to policy and/or strategy
- Occasionally perform regular and timely updates to an array of configurations and business rules that underpin Pricing and ESG activities within the deal origination process
- Liaise and collaborate with Institutional Lending Crew delivery squads and stakeholders as required
- Convert business needs into deliverable squad user stories using knowledge of system capabilities, rules, and architecture
- Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate, validate, and manage requirements for changes to systems, business processes and data
- Work closely with stakeholders and change management to identify impacts to business processes because of system or application changes
We are interested in hearing from people who have:
- Experience working on technology delivery projects in Agile teams
- Business and technical analysis experience
- Independently managing business stakeholders and requirement gathering workshops
- Knowledge of agile business analysis processes & techniques, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft applications
- Prior experience within a similar role within a corporate business environment
- General knowledge of lending products
- An understanding of return on capital framework is preferred
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with SAS, SQL is a bonus but not mandatory
