- Part Time, Contracted Role working 22.5 hours per week up to 2 years
- The Associate Director provides high level leadership in administration, teaching and research across the regional LHNs, including oversight of the delivery of pharmacy services including those outsourced acute and Aged Care pharmacy services across the Regional Local Health Networks.
- The Associate Director works with the Director Pharmacy Services, Regional Services in providing an excellent and innovative service to patients of regional SA with the aim of optimising health outcomes by the quality use of pharmaceuticals and associated activities.
- The Associate Director will ensure services are in line with policies and procedures in accordance with hospital, state and national requirements, legislation and professional standards.
- The Associate Director provides high level leadership in the initiation, implementation and coordination of major state-wide and LHN-wide pharmacy projects.
Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is a unique public healthcare organisation that serves health consumers and provides specialist clinical services to the health system in South Australia. SCSS encompasses BreastScreen SA, SA Dental, SA Medical Imaging, SA Pathology, and SA Pharmacy. Educational/Vocational Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or Diploma of Pharmacy
- Post Graduate Qualification in pharmacy or related discipline
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
