Associate Program Director

We are currently seeking Associate Program Director for our Adelaide campus to manage the delivery of courses, manage academic staff and support learning of our students. The position will drive both undergraduate and postgraduate programs with specialisations in Entrepreneurship, Accounting and Information Technology Management. The subjects are delivered face to face, blended and online. 

Key Duties:

Reporting to the Program Director, the key duties are to:

• Provide leadership and mentorship to program academic staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, quality improvement and excellence.
• Prepare trimester wise teaching timetable for the campus incorporating all subject delivery
• Identify qualified faculty and teaching staff for both UG and PG subjects in courses.
• Ensure that the teaching staff are briefed on the teaching delivery process and allocate resources to staff.
• Ensure that the staff are inducted for delivery including their access to LMS and other learning and assessment processes.
• Ensure attendance of the Academic staff, replacement and their engagement hours for remunerations.
• Ensure the assessment, marking, moderation and declaring results of the students on time.
• Provide individual advice and guidance to staff and students on matters related to credit transfer, subject selection, course information as well as other related queries. 
• Support the professional development of all academic staff. 
• Closely liaison and coordination with other program coordinators, lecturers, students, academic support staff and Student Services team in relation to the queries and support mechanisms in relation to the courses. 

Selection Criteria: 

Essential:

•  A PhD qualification in Management or Business.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in program development, curriculum design, and/or improving the student experience within a higher education setting.
• Proven capability to teach and supervise academic staff in undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues. 
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
