About the role
Reporting to the Director Government Relations, the Associate Director Stakeholder Relations contributes to the policy, strategy, government and stakeholder relations function within the Global External Relations team. Activities critical to this role include supporting the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement strategies to build and enhance trusted relationships with policy decision makers, industry participants, shareholders, civil society, unions, peak groups and all levels of government. This role provides advice to, and works constructively with, IFM's investment teams and other business units. As a member of the broader External Relations team, the appointee will support the authentic positioning of IFM in a way that reflects its values, heritage and purpose, and contributes to protecting, enhancing and distinguishing IFM's reputation.
About you
You are an experienced external relations professional with a track record in managing relations with government and civil society organisations. Your experience has been gained in government, relevant industry associations, or international policy-making or commercial organisations. Underpinning your ability to build and enhance trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders is your detailed understanding of the environment in which IFM Investors operates. Leverage your experience in policy-making processes and external stakeholder engagement to contribute to the authentic positioning of an organisation that enhances the retirement outcomes of millions of people globally.
